Using a Cable modem with

Hi I have an BE connection, with the RFC1483 Bridged connection. The bebox is quiet frankly crap. I have a wrt320n with DDwrt that I would like to use instead. I also have a dlink DSL320b that I would like to use as the modem. I can get the Router to act as an Access point but I want it to do the routing.

What setting should I set for the Modem and for the router. Does the modem need to go into Transparent bridge mode, and if so how do I do that.
